Help Support Dylan’s Education and Future in Social Justice

Hello! My name is Dylan Laughery, and I am a recent high school graduate from Bend, Oregon. My enthusiasm for continual learning and passion for social advocacy have driven me to pursue a bachelor’s degree in Theology, Justice, and Peace at Point Loma Nazarene University (PLNU). I am grateful to have been accepted into PLNU’s selective Honors Program, and I am beyond excited for the opportunities I’ll have to expand my knowledge of history, political science, and our contemporary social landscape while sharpening my skills in communication, critical thinking, and public speaking.

But as excited as I am, the financial burden is persistent. The cost of tuition, books, housing, and other school-related expenses at a university such as PLNU adds up quickly. While I’m pursuing every available aid opportunity, there’s still a gap I can’t close alone. That’s why I’m turning to my community and those who’ve supported me along the way. Any amount you’re able to contribute makes a huge difference— whether it’s $5 or $500! Your support not only helps me stay in school but also fuels a future dedicated to service, advocacy, and learning. Thank you for reading, for sharing, and for believing in me.

With deep gratitude,

Dylan
