Help a Single Mother and Her Daughter Escape Debt, Abuse and Homelessness

(This includes 15,000 EUR for urgent debt and approx. 285,000 EUR for a safe, modest home

 

My name is Larisa Alina Perescu, I am a 46-year-old single mother from Romania, and I am asking for your help from the bottom of my heart.

 

My story is not easy to tell, but I have no other hope right now. I am a former nurse who had to stop working because my bank accounts were frozen due to a €15,000 debt that is not even mine. In 2017, my mother took a loan and I was her guarantor. She passed away in my arms shortly after falling ill, and the debt remained on my shoulders.

 

Because of this, the bank seizes every penny I make. I cannot pay rent, cannot support my 20-year-old daughter, and cannot escape the violent home we currently live in. I am forced to live in the house of a man who abuses me — physically and emotionally — especially when he’s drunk. We live in fear and pain every day.

 

I am trying to raise €300,000 to:

 

Pay off the €15,000 debt that destroyed my life

 

Buy a small home for my daughter and me so we can finally be safe

 

I am not asking for luxury. I am asking for safety. For peace. For a chance to live again.
