Four years ago, my mother was diagnosed with cancer and sold her home to move into an RV camper. Before she sold her house, I was living with her. After she sold her house, I moved in with my then-boyfriend. Unfortunately, we separated due to physical and mental abuse, which left me in a difficult financial situation.

Since then, my mom and her husband have been traveling across the country in their RV and rarely return to our hometown. She’s unable to help financially, which I completely understand. I had planned to either buy a camper or rent an apartment, but the sudden breakup left me without a place to stay, forcing me to live out of my car. I don’t have any friends or family nearby to turn to, as they’re all in other states, dealing with their own struggles.

On top of this, I’m in my second year of college at American Public University Systems. My car is old, and much of my money has gone toward repairs while I’ve been staying in a hotel. The hotel is far from ideal. It’s not clean, and there are sometimes bugs. I’m paying $450 a week to stay here, but I’m running out of money, and I don’t know how I’ll cover next week’s stay. I’m waiting on a college installment that won’t arrive for another two months, and I plan to use that money to rent a place and hopefully get approved somewhere.

At the moment, my cooking options are limited since I only have a microwave and mini fridge. I’m reaching out for any assistance, whether it’s financial or resources, to help me through this challenging time. I can verify everything I’ve mentioned via text if needed. Any assistance will help. Thank you in advance and God bless.
