Fraudulent Charges May Evict Me

I never really spend any money because all my money goes towards the the room and board of where I live. So basically I keep my wallet buried deep in my backpack. I don’t want to get tempted into buying something that will make me short on my rent. The beginning of the month I had taken my wallet out to show my ID to pickup my prescriptions. I didn’t notice that my debit card had slipped out of my wallet at the pharmacy. I few days goes by and the 5th comes by, which is the due date for my rent. I get a knock at my door from the billing department. They ask my why there was only $249 left in my account. I said I wasn’t aware. I called my banking institution and they told me of all the additional charges that were made the previous days. I told them it wasn’t me.y bank said there would be an investigation, but they said since I have made purchases from those stores in the past, I may not get all the money that I am claiming. I informed the business office of what happened and what I was told, the “manager” just gave me the evil eye and just said, ” You better come up with the money somehow.” I have tried to get personal loans, asking friends, and the very few family I have left, and nothing. This is my last resort. Help me please, if you can. Thank you.
