Imagine being a young girl, eager to learn, but forced to miss school every month because you lack something as basic as a sanitary pad. In the Karamoja subregion of Uganda, over 500 school-going girls face this heartbreaking reality. Without access to menstrual products, many resort to using unsafe alternatives like worn-out fabric, leaves, or even soil. These makeshift solutions not only pose serious health risks but also strip these girls of their dignity, leading to shame, isolation, and alarmingly high school dropout rates.
But we can change this together.
Our GoGetFunding campaign aims to raise $5000 to provide reusable sanitary pads, menstrual health education, and support systems for these girls. With your help, we can ensure they stay in school, pursue their dreams, and live with confidence and dignity.
Every dollar counts.
