ALP Give to the Max Day 2025

Asylum Law Project plays a pivotal role in connecting 1Ls with volunteer opportunities. We partner with community organizations across various locations – from the Twin Cities, to Wisconsin, to Texas and more – to provide essential legal aid to immigrants, refugees, and asylum seekers. Our work facilitates these connections, supporting both the organizations and the populations they serve.

ALP volunteer work is often the only hands-on experience students will get under attorney supervision their 1L year, and this year more than one quarter of all 1Ls will be spending a week of their winter break, spring break, or a handful of hours per week the entire spring semester doing substantive volunteer work.
