Hi, I’m Shanda, and I’ve spent the last year creating something I never imagined I’d have the strength to write: a novel that grew out of heartbreak, resilience, and the fragile hope that there can still be light after trauma.

My book, Through the Glass Circuit, follows Dr. Sapphire Black — a woman who rebuilds herself while the world around her collapses. Her journey is raw, painful, brave, and beautiful. In many ways, she became the voice I couldn’t find for myself when life broke me open.

And now, after pouring thousands of hours into writing, editing, revising, and building this story, I’m facing the final hurdle: actually getting it published.
