The Ironwood High School (IHS) Football Program has made remarkable strides this past year, not only working to strengthen team dynamics but also striving to prove to the community that they deserve to be part of the Eagle’s support system. With your help, the team will gain the tools they need to thrive both on and off the field.

The IHS Football Booster Club has been working tirelessly alongside community members to provide essential support, including pre-game meals, nutritious snacks, helmets, and other equipment necessary to compete at a high level. However, despite these efforts, there remain areas that still need extra funding, especially as district resources are limited. While every school faces challenges, the IHS Football team has been without community support for over three years, and as a result, they have missed out on the opportunities that other, more established teams often benefit from during a season.

Ironwood High School serves a diverse student body—57% of the students are from minority backgrounds, 41% come from low-income families, and 38% are eligible for free or reduced lunch. In light of this, community partnerships are more vital than ever to ensure that programs like the IHS Football team are supported, particularly as they focus on rebuilding and growing stronger.

This year, the Ironwood Eagles are aiming to raise $20,000 to provide the team with much-needed new uniforms and to renovate their locker room, which has been in use for over 20 years. Unfortunately, these essential upgrades are not fully covered by district funding, and the team and Booster Club must rely on additional contributions to make this a reality. The dedication and resilience shown by the Ironwood Football team this season has been nothing short of inspiring. Your support will significantly enhance their experience and help to foster the spirit of community, collaboration, and engagement.
