Help me get back on my feet

Good morning my name is Benjamin Fortson I’m fundraising for me to be able to get my golf California certified guard card training it cost approximately about about 1500 and I also I’m fundraising into help me and my family like stay in our place and being able to like afford to get food and and also paid on the rent and stuff like that utilities and stuff like that because you know the government shutdown has messed up everything up.

And I want to be able to help provide for my family and you know get out the house about 2 years ago two or three years ago I had an accident on the way home I used to work for do security event staff for a company called contemporary service corporation very good company that work for excellent benefits and everything and I have been working for them for like for almost almost 6 months or whatever it was almost over my probation and stuff well anyway I was working at the LA county Fair.

And now you’re not remember I think I did a double which is like I want to say 12 to like 14 hours or something like that and I stay waiting Victorville and I drove all the way to the LA county Fair.

While I’m awake back home after getting off of work I fell asleep at the well and got into a really bad car accident I didn’t hear another car but I did hit like a center divider or whatever like head on like doing like I want to say like 70 mph.

I have broke my sternum bruised my heart and my ribs and my lungs I almost went through the windshield because the airbag didn’t deploy and I messed up my forehead I got a scar you can’t really see it but I can see it.

But none of that matters because I’m still here and you know I’m all held up and stuff like that I’ve been sitting in the house for like I said 2 to 3 years and recently we moved into a bigger place and you know living off of one income is very very very stressful.

So I you know I still have my you know I can’t stand for long periods of times I still have my little issues or whatever from the accident but I know I can work or whatever so I wanted to get my car card reinstated because I let it go dormant basically they gave me a 60-day grace period in the past week six day grace beer so now I have to do the whole class over again.

So I’m fundraising to be able to go back to work and you know hopefully somebody out there some people are generous people out there will give me some money or whatever help me out with you know so I’ll be able to get to my wife and provide for my kids or whatever and you know be able to continue to like get food and you know basic needs why the shutdown the government shutdown is doing anything which is I hope is over before Thanksgiving or Christmas.

So you know whatever you can give is very very appreciative I don’t know what else to say but you know everything that I’m saying is you know not a lie I am really really like trying to get back on my feet and I’m really really trying to have you know money so we’ll be able to like pay our utility bills and stuff to keep our lights on and you know pay the rent and you know get gas so you know my wife can continue to go to work while I’m out of work right now and I can you know actually go to class and get my guard card you know if I have to help and I’ll be back to work like within a week or two it depends you know it depends it I’m hoping that the economy is not that bad but it seems like his jobs out there you know so yeah that’s sitting in the show you guys stay blessed .
