The Young Leaders Event is a two-day event that will take place On July 22nd, 2023, in Kakuma Refugee Camp. It will bring together 40 young refugee leaders from 10 nationalities and 20 young leaders from host communities to foster a sense of unity and cooperation between the two groups. The goal of the event is to provide a platform for participants to share their experiences, ideas, and opinions on peace-building, conflict resolution, community-building, and cooperation.

The event will include a series of workshops, discussions, and interactive activities aimed at promoting dialogue, collaboration, and problem-solving. Day 1 will consist of workshops and presentations by Amala education teams in peace-building and youth empowerment. Day 2 will focus on community building and cooperation through interactive activities such as cultural dance and teamwork exercises. Participants will work together to identify community challenges and develop innovative solutions that promote sustainable development goals and peace.

The total budget for the event is $700, which will cover venue rental, refreshments, speakers, and transportation. Your contribution to this fundraising effort will help us bring together young leaders from diverse backgrounds to work towards a shared vision of a peaceful and sustainable future.
